Project Description

Objective

VectorUSA created the design and installed nearly a dozen surgical-grade HD displays with articulating wall mounts in the USN Mercy, a world-famous medical ship that provides humanitarian aid to disaster-hit areas around the globe.

Solution

VectorUSA designed and installed eleven 42” high-definition, surgical-grade monitors with articulating wall mounts in eleven of the ship’s twelve surgical rooms. Each new Surgical Display accommodates a new video connection with SDI (BNC), HDMI and VGA connections. VectorUSA engineers also installed two 26” HD Surgical Displays with fixed wall mounts in the ship’s Dental surgery rooms. Each new Surgical Display also accommodates a new video connection with SDI (BNC), HDMI and VGA connections. 13 existing x-ray viewing boards were removed and the walls were restored to new conditions.

At the completion of the project, VectorUSA provided training, management and trouble-shooting training of the complete solution. VectorUSA was the Prime Contractor on this project, designing, managing, implementing and executing the full delivery of all products and services. VectorUSA followed strict protocols relating to the sensitive environment.
