The objective was to provide an Innovative Infrastructure cabling solution to support data, low voltage and cable TV capabilities at the Department of Justice — FBI Field Office in Southern California.
VectorUSA’s Innovative Infrastructure solution included the design and installation of all fiber and copper cabling required to support more than 1,700 drops that supported a wide array of devices from computers to phone systems. Installation included the necessary equipment racks, patch panels, cable management systems, horizontal outlets, fiber enclosures, workstation patch cords, and related cabling infrastructure components to support all on-site networks. The fiber network cabling portion consisted of installing a traditional fiber optic and CAT 6 distribution system to support four data communications network enclaves and a total of 1,737 drops for several different networks. Once the work was completed, VectorUSA engineers tested all drops for maximum connectivity.
VectorUSA was the Prime Contractor on this project — designing, managing, implementing and executing the full delivery of all products and services. VectorUSA also followed strict protocols relating to the sensitive project environment. At the completion of the project, VectorUSA provided training, management and trouble-shoot training of the complete solution.
