AV Services for the United States Navy
Located at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, this nuclear command and control Wing of the United States Navy provides airborne communications links to nuclear missile units of the United States Strategic Command.
This Command and Control Wing did not have the appropriate means to perform Secret Internet Protocol Router, non-classified Internet Protocol video-teleconferencing with Leadership and other Commands.
The current systems in place were end-of-life and no longer supported by the manufacturers, leaving Leadership and other Commands with numerous security challenges and vulnerabilities.
VectorUSA redesigned, installed, configured, and integrated a state-of-the-art audio visual and video-conferencing solution, enabling our Client to hold collaborative meetings internally and externally, with leadership both on SIPR or NIPR environments.
The solution included a Cisco video teleconference system - one codec for Secret Internet Protocol Router and one for non classified Internet Protocol, audio teleconferencing, secure displays, a Crestron matrix switching and control system, and a new audio system.
Our client is now able to hold collaborative meetings at any time instead of having to commute to other locations that had the required systems to hold SIPR conferences.
VectorUSA also provided a one-year preventative service package to maintain the system for the first year after the initial installation, providing peace-of-mind that our
solution performs 24x7x365.
This level of assurance enables our Client to worry less about their AV system and concentrate on more mission-critical initiatives.
