Workforce collaboration and communication for a Marine Corps Base in California
This Group is a logistics unit of the United States Marine Corps and is headquartered at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, with detachments located at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms.
The Commanding General’s conference room did not have the appropriate means to perform Secure Internet Protocol Router, non-classified Internet Protocol video teleconferencing with leadership or other commands.
The current systems in place were end-of-life, no longer supported by the manufacturers, leaving Leadership and other Commands with numerous security challenges and vulnerabilities.
VectorUSA designed, installed, configured, and integrated a state-of-the-art audio visual and video-teleconferencing system to enable our Client to hold collaborative meetings internally and externally with leadership both on SIPR or NIPR environments.
The solution included a Cisco VTC system, secure switching, audio teleconferencing, secure displays, digital signage, Crestron matrix switching and control systems, and a new audio system.
Our Client is now able to hold collaboration meetings in a SIPR environment that meets all of Government’s security guidelines.
The Marine Corps Group also requested a one-year preventative-service package to maintain the system for the first year after our initial installation, providing peace-of-mind that our solution perform 24x7x365.
This level of assurance enables our Client to worry less about their AV system and concentrate on more mission-critical initiatives.
